Contact form
A contact form on your website allows players, press or potential partners to get in touch with you easily. Indie Pocket templates include a customizable contact form that you can set up without any coding knowledge.
How the Contact Form Works
The contact form collects messages from your visitors and sends them directly to your email address. This way, you can respond quickly to questions, feedback, or business inquiries related to your game.
Setting up your Contact Form
Open your Indie Pocket template project in Framer.
Locate the Contact page or section where the form is included.
Select the form component to access its settings.
Configuring Email Notifications
To receive messages, you need to configure the form’s destination email:
In the form settings, find the field labeled Recipient Email or similar.
Enter the email address where you want to receive contact messages.
Make sure this email is one you check regularly to avoid missing important messages.
Customizing Form Fields
You can customize the fields in your contact form to fit your needs. Common fields include:
Name
Email address
Subject
Message
Feel free to add or remove fields depending on what information you want to collect.
Testing your Contact Form
Before publishing your site, test the contact form by sending a message to yourself. Confirm that you receive the email correctly and that the form behaves as expected.
Spam Protection
To reduce spam, consider enabling any built-in protections in Framer or adding a simple CAPTCHA if supported. This keeps your inbox free from unwanted messages.
